The event promises a huge selection of quality second-hand jigsaw puzzles, as well as cakes and hot drinks, with all proceeds going to support a local charity.

A local community group is holding a charity puzzle sale next week, with all money raised going to support a charity for the terminally ill.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 14 at the Holy Trinity Church Centre in Beacon Heath, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.

The event promises a “huge” selection of quality second-hand jigsaw puzzles, as well as cakes and hot drinks. It will also offer a chance for those interested to learn more about The Cinnamon Trust.

The charity has been helping pet owners in the South West since 1985. It supports older people and the terminally ill, providing assistance when the usual day-to-day care of their pets becomes a struggle.

It also offers support for pets who outlive their owners, and relies heavily on volunteers and support from the community..

Organisers say Cinnamon Trust volunteers who attend the puzzle sale can treat themselves to a free slice of cake.
