The new 800 sq ft store at 10 High Street will create five jobs and offer a complimentary luxury goody bag to the first 100 customers who spend £100 in store.

Le Creuset is opening its first South West boutique in Exeter, with the new store in Princesshay set to open its doors at 9.30am on Friday 4 September.

The 800 sq ft store, located at 10 High Street, brings the renowned French cookware and homeware brand to the city for the first time, and will create five jobs.

Rob Pink, Le Creuset Exeter Store Manager, said the team was looking forward to welcoming customers to the brand's full collection. "We're thrilled to open Le Creuset's first South West boutique in Exeter," he said. "From 9.30am on opening day, customers can explore the full collection, the first 100 people who spend £100 in store will receive a complimentary luxury goody bag. We can't wait to welcome everyone."

The opening follows the recent arrival of lingerie retailer Bravissimo at Princesshay, and comes ahead of the centre's forthcoming Black Sheep Coffee opening, part of what the centre describes as its continued appeal to nationally recognised brands.

Princesshay, owned by Frasers Group, is home to more than 65 retailers, including Apple, Zara, Oliver Bonas and Lush, alongside restaurants such as Wagamama, Nando's and YO! Sushi. The centre says it welcomes more than 10 million visitors a year.

Founded in 1925, Le Creuset has become known worldwide for its colourful cast iron cookware, used by both home cooks and professional chefs.
