Exeter-based Pennon Group has named Keith Haslett as its next Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. He will join the company in 2026 after completing his notice period at Affinity Water.
Exeter Today understands that Mr Haslett has worked in the UK water industry for several decades, most recently as CEO of Affinity Water. He has also held senior roles at Northumbrian Water Group and United Utilities.
While at United Utilities, Mr Haslett managed large-scale asset portfolios and worked on environmental and efficiency projects. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer with an MBA from Queen’s University Belfast.

Speaking about his appointment, Keith said: “I am delighted to be joining Pennon Group at such a critical time to further improve customer service levels and enhance our environment through an ambitious investment programme to 2030 and beyond.”
“My focus will be to ensure that Pennon delivers on the expectations of all customers, stakeholders, and regulators.”
He succeeds Susan Davy, who has been Pennon’s CEO since 2020 and is retiring after more than 30 years in the water industry, including 18 with the company.

Pennon operates water and environmental services across the South West, including South West Water, Bristol Water and Bournemouth Water.
