Exeter Services includes 36 EV charging points, 13 food and drink outlets, and free parking for up to two hours, giving travellers plenty of options during a stop.

The stop has become a key destination for drivers heading into or out of the South West, offering a convenient break before the final stretch to Exeter or the surrounding Devon coast.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents recommends taking a 15-minute break every two hours of driving to stay alert, and Exeter Services provides a range of facilities that travellers can use for a pause.

Spencer Davi, Sales and Marketing Director at Northgate Vehicle Hire, said: “When you drive for a job, a pleasant service station to stop at can make a real difference. Our customers spend a lot of time on the road, so we understand the value of stopping somewhere clean, comfortable and well-equipped to take a proper break.”

“The stations topping our list really do stand out for making life easier for people who drive for a living.”
