Local community choir, Bellacappella, is set to fill Winslade Park in Exeter this autumn as they host The Bellacappella Songbook - a gala evening celebrating music, togetherness and the joy of singing.

The concert, taking place on Friday, November 22, 2025, will raise funds for Music for All, a UK charity dedicated to helping people of all backgrounds access musical opportunities through grants, instruments, and community projects.

Audiences can expect a mix of pop favourites and soulful ballads, performed in Bellacappella’s signature rich harmonies.

The evening’s repertoire includes hits such as Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Only You, Don’t Leave Me This Way, and Black Parade, each reimagined with the choir’s unique sound.

Founded on inclusivity and community spirit, Bellacappella has become a well-loved feature of Exeter’s music scene. Under the voluntary leadership of Karen Denning, who arranges and teaches every piece, the choir welcomes singers from all walks of life.

“This concert is a real celebration of what community music can do,” said Jess, a choir member helping to organise the event. “We come together each week regardless of personal challenges because singing makes us feel alive. The gala is our way of sharing that joy and supporting Music for All, who help others discover the same.”

The gala promises an uplifting evening that highlights Exeter’s strong community arts scene, proving once again how music can bring people together for a good cause.

Doors will open at 7pm with the show beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets are £10, in support of Music for All.
