After a first clean sheet of the season and three points on the road at Wycombe Wanderers, goalkeeper Joe Whitworth said he was "buzzing".

While it was an own goal at the other end that secured the points, it was Whitworth's heroics at the other end in the dying stages that ensured they remained as he kept everything the hosts threw at those in red and white out.

"I think the performance was solid. We had to dig deep for large parts of the game but the boys were outstanding getting in front of everything - blocks, crosses - and we got our reward with the goal at the end," Joe said after the win.

"I'm massively proud of the boys. We have a real big team spirit led by the gaffer. We knew we had to put our bodies on the line and when that time came we did that.

"I know I have to be there when the team need me, but the defensive unit is sold and overall I'm just buzzing."
