Three Exeter Chiefs players have been named in England’s latest training squad as preparations begin for the summer internationals.

Richard Capstick, Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Henry Slade are among a 36-player group called up by head coach Steve Borthwick for a four-day training camp.

The squad, which excludes players selected for the British & Irish Lions and those involved in this weekend’s Premiership final, will convene as part of England’s build-up to the England XV v France XV fixture at Twickenham on Saturday 21 June.

Capstick earns a call after a strong season in the Chiefs back row, while 21-year-old winger Feyi-Waboso continues to impress following his breakout year on the international stage. Slade, a senior figure in the Exeter setup, returns to the fold with 62 England caps to his name.

The training group features a mix of youth and experience drawn from across the Premiership, with players from Harlequins, Gloucester, Sale, Saracens and Northampton among those selected.

The final England touring squad for the summer Tests against Argentina and the USA will be announced on Monday 23 June.
