Exeter City Women have strengthened their defensive lineup ahead of the new season by signing Courtney Jones.
Courtney joins the Grecians following a successful stint at Cheltenham Town.
She played a key role in the Robins' Division One South West title win in 2022, scoring against City in a 3-1 victory.
As Town adapted to life in tier three, Courtney became a regular starter under Tom Davies, making 22 appearances as the team finished a commendable eighth in the division.
Last season, she featured 17 times for the Robins, including a late substitute appearance during the FA Cup clash against Exeter.
Beginning her career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Courtney later spent three years at Stoke City before joining Town in 2021, where she was a teammate of current Grecian Georgie-Marie Barbour-Gresham.
In addition to her club experience, Courtney recently captained the UK Armed Forces Team, proudly representing the British Army.
Manager Abbie Britton said: “Courtney brings a wealth of experience to the team and has played a lot of tier three football. She offers a strong presence to our defensive options and has leadership qualities.
"She has been fantastic in coming into the group, and I am looking forward to working with her this season.”
