Music lovers in Exeter can snap up tickets for a charity concert in aid of the Lord Mayor’s charity.

Members of Exeter Philharmonic Choir will take part in a special concert on Saturday 18 April at Exeter’s historic Guildhall.

The Lord Mayor of Exeter will be presenting an afternoon of song and poetry in support of her chosen charity, Riding for the Disabled - Exeter Group.

The afternoon will begin with a mayoral reception at 2pm, followed by music and verse performed by members of Exeter Philharmonic Choir from 3pm.

To suit the Guildhall’s historic setting, the Lord Mayor has chosen a programme for all tastes - a musical journey through 500 years of choral music, from sacred and secular works to spirituals and folk songs, woven together with poetry.
