Alanis Morissette, one of the most influential singer-songwriters of the past three decades, has been announced as the final headline act for TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham 2026.

The seven-time GRAMMY Award-winning Canadian-American artist will perform on Friday 26 June, marking one of only a small number of UK headline dates scheduled for next year.

She will be joined by special guests Skunk Anansie.

Alanis rose to international fame with her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, which became a defining record of the era and produced hits such as Ironic, You Oughta Know, Hand in My Pocket and Thank U.

With more than 75 million records sold worldwide, she remains a major figure in contemporary music, known for her expressive songwriting and powerful live performances.

Her appearance at Powderham follows a string of high-profile shows, including a sold-out night at the O2 Arena and a widely praised debut at Glastonbury earlier this year.

The announcement completes the four-day line-up, which also includes headline sets from Teddy Swims and Lewis Capaldi.

Local reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. Dan Bishop from Exwick said: “This might be the strongest line-up Powderham has ever booked. Alanis is huge, this really puts the South West on the map.”

Mary Lewis from Topsham added: “Events like this are great for local businesses. When Powderham brings in big names, the whole area benefits.”

Others shared their surprise: “I never imagined Alanis Morissette would play in Devon,” said Sophie Walton from St Thomas. “It’s brilliant for local music fans.”

Promoter Oli Mason said interest from residents across the region has been strong, and organisers expect high demand when tickets go on sale next Friday.

Adding to this, Oli said: “Alanis Morissette is a genuine rock star, and what a way to complete the Live at Powderham line-up!

“I’m loving how the South West is getting behind these shows; the whole team is super grateful. This is a massive gig for the region, and we know demand is going to be extremely high.”

With Teddy Swims and Lewis Capaldi joining Alanis Morissette, Oli said that Powderhan’s “enhanced fan experience and improved transport options” puts the venue “on the map for live music” and that he “cannot wait to welcome artists and audiences.”

This year’s announcement also highlights Powderham Castle’s increasing profile as a major South West music venue, as these three major headliners are set to perform headline shows during the same weekend.

Tickets for all Live At Powderham events go on general sale next Friday through the event’s official website and authorised ticketing outlets.
