Two Pennywell Farm micro-pigs have joined Trinity CofE Primary & Nursery School’s Forest School programme, supported by Bloor Homes and local contractors.

The pigs were donated by Pennywell Farm with funding from Bloor Homes’ contractor partners P Deare Carpentry & Joinery, Pro Bricklayers and CJL Construction. Bloor Homes also provided a purpose-built shed for the animals.

The animals will form part of the school’s Forest School programme, which encourages outdoor, hands-on learning. Students will take on the responsibility of caring for Bubble and Squeak as part of their environmental education.

Carrie Seale, Forest School Lead at Trinity said: "Our Forest School is an integral part of the immersive learning experience we provide at Trinity, and we can't wait to introduce the children to our newest residents, Bubble and Squeak. We're very grateful to Bloor Homes and its partners for their generous support."

Marijke D’Crus, Sales Manager at Bloor Homes Exeter, added: “Collaborating on this donation with our local contractors has been very rewarding.

The Forest School initiative is a brilliant programme, and we look forward to keeping up with Bubble and Squeak and the students’ journey with them.”

The Seabrook Orchards development, built by Bloor Homes, sits on Dart Avenue off Topsham Road, with Trinity CofE Primary & Nursery School located at its heart.
