Teddy Swims rose to prominence after building a following on YouTube, later releasing his debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) in 2023.
The album produced Lose Control and The Door, both of which went multi-platinum. He has since earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and accumulated more than 12 billion streams worldwide.
Music fans in Exeter have reacted positively to the announcement.
Matt Rowe said he "saw Teddy in London last year and he was incredible. To have him coming to Exeter is brilliant."
He will be joined by support acts Lauren Spencer Smith and Jordan Rakei.
Tickets go on O2 and artist pre-sale at 10am on Wednesday 1 October, with general sale from 10am Friday 3 October via teddyswims.com, liveatpowderham.com and ticketmaster.co.uk.
Powderham is one of several outdoor venues on Teddy Swims’ summer tour, which also includes the Isle of Wight Festival, Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields, and Glasgow’s Summer Sessions.
The Devon show will follow two headline concerts at the same venue by Lewis Capaldi on 27 and 28 June.
