Earlier this year, RAMM was also shortlisted for the Museums + Heritage Awards’ Visitor Accessibility Award, alongside major institutions such as the Welcome Collection and the Royal Collection Trust, a testament to its inclusive approach to public engagement.

Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards are based entirely on authentic visitor reviews over the past 12 months. Each of Exeter’s winning venues has received consistent praise for visitor satisfaction, engagement, and the quality of experience. Exeter Quay also received recognition in 2025, along with several other local businesses and facilities, highlighting the city’s strong and diverse visitor offer.

The accolades reflect the aims of Exeter City Council’s Corporate Plan 2025–2028, supporting strategic priorities across the local economy, people, and sustainable environment. They also reinforce Exeter’s growing reputation as a city with a vibrant cultural and tourism offer, helping to build a resilient local economy.

Council leaders say the awards further support efforts to increase participation in leisure and cultural activities, contributing to wellbeing and stronger community engagement. Recognition of venues like RAMM and the Underground Passages also demonstrates the city’s commitment to sustainable tourism and the preservation of Exeter’s unique heritage, protecting assets that are both environmentally and culturally significant.

Exeter City Council has praised the hard work of its teams and thanked the thousands of visitors whose reviews helped shine a global spotlight on the city’s cultural and heritage attractions.
