Award-winning comedian Esther Manito is heading to Exeter Phoenix on 12 October with her brand-new show Slagbomb, as part of her biggest UK tour to date.
The British-Lebanese comic, known for appearances on Live at the Apollo and The Stand Up Sketch Show, will bring her trademark humour and no-filter storytelling to audiences across the country from September 2025 to February 2026.
Slagbomb dives headfirst into the glorious chaos of mid-life, as Esther wrestles with the mess of modern womanhood. From dodgy drug dealers and failed waxing attempts, to parenting fails and PE kit mishaps, it’s all laid bare – usually while wearing Crocs.
“I always thought I’d grow into being poised and dignified,” Esther jokes. “Turns out, not so much.”
Tackling gender politics, parenting pressures, and awkward everyday disasters with punchy honesty, Esther is known for flipping expectations and giving audiences both laughs and relatability in equal measure.
With a Lebanese father, a no-nonsense Essex upbringing, and a front-row seat to life’s curveballs, she’s not afraid to share it all – in spectacularly funny fashion.
Esther’s past shows have received rave reviews, with Crusade, #NotAllMen and Hell Hath No Fury cementing her as one of the UK’s most compelling comedy voices. She's also a regular on Radio 4 and co-hosts podcasts Ghastly Women and I Didn’t Want It Anyway with Shappi Khorsandi.
For fans of sharp, unapologetic stand-up that tackles real life with warmth and wit, Slagbomb is not to be missed. Tickets are on sale now.
