October 13, 2018 - Exeter’s Patisserie Valerie was saved after an 11th hour rescue operation succeeded saving jobs at the beleaguered company.
The company’s chairman said it will be "business as normal" at the cafe chain after swooping in with a rescue package that saved nearly 3,000 jobs and the entire firm from collapse.
However it finally closed for good over the weekend of October 1st to 2nd 2022.
