Next speaker announced for Nat West Boost

The next NatWestBoost event will celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023!

On this occasion the speaker will be international make up artist Zakiyah Shani.

Born and raised in Bristol, Zakiyah has blossomed into a celebrity and international pro makeup artist over the course of her reputable eight-year career.

Now based in the heart of London, she is cementing her mark on the beauty industry with her incredible talent and dedication.

Zakiyah’s artistic prowess has graced the faces of some of the world’s most recognized stars. She has collaborated with esteemed brands like Benefit Cosmetics and MAC and has travelled internationally, helping to build her roster of renowned clientele. Her work has also shone on the pages of Vogue, GQ, The Sunday Times, and numerous other publications. Zakiyah’s magic doesn’t stop there; her makeup artistry has illuminated screens on the BBC, Channel 4, ITV2, and more.

But what truly sets Zakiyah apart is her ability to enhance the beauty of the extraordinary. She has had the privilege of working with British born actor and Star Wars cast member John Boyega, the legendary menswear designer Ozwald Boateng, GB Olympians Perri Edwards & Dina-Asher Smith and British comedian/presenter Judi Love. Even international music sensation Wizkid has experienced her transformative touch.

After hosting her very first in-person makeup masterclass in London, Zakiyah will be joining us in Devon. It’s a unique opportunity to delve deep into her remarkable journey, learning the secrets of her success in the world of professional makeup artistry.

Zakiyah’s talk will be in the Duckworth Suite at Exeter Golf & Country Club on November 14 between 9.30am and 11am.
