Smalltown Boy
7 March
Head to Barnfield Theatre for Smalltown Boy by Brenda Callis - a moving, life-affirming play exploring grief, belonging and growing up queer in a rural town, told through the bold, expressive world of drag. 7.45pm start. £15–£16.50 per ticket.
2. WALK
Hospiscare Men’s Walk
7 March
This year’s seven-mile Men’s Walk takes place on Saturday 7 March, starting and finishing at Exeter’s Double Locks pub. Expect a bacon roll en route, followed by a pint and pasty at the finish. Stay on to catch the Italy v England Six Nations match on the big screen in the event marquee. Funds raised support Hospiscare’s vital end-of-life services.
3. MUSIC
Candlelight Concert with Exeter Cathedral Choir
7 March
Enjoy an atmospheric candlelit concert as Exeter Cathedral Choir performs within the magnificent surroundings of Exeter Cathedral. Bathed in candlelight, the cathedral’s soaring Gothic architecture provides a breathtaking backdrop for an evening of choral music. Bring cushions, camping chairs and blankets, and follow the Choir of Exeter Cathedral as they guide you through the space with a programme of atmospheric masterpieces.7pm start. Adults £20; Under 18s £5.

Exeter Record & CD Fair
7 March
Head to Exeter Corn Exchange for the Exeter Record & CD Fair, featuring vinyl records, promotional material, imports, fan-club memorabilia and picture discs, as well as CDs, albums, singles, sheet music, postcards, DVDs, posters and T-shirts - and much more. Admission £1. 9.30am–3.30pm
5. WORKSHOP
Grayson Perry-inspired Ceramic Vase Workshop with artist Scotty Gillespie
7 March
Inspired by Grayson Perry’s bold, narrative-rich ceramics in the exhibition Grayson Perry: Aspects of Myself, this hands-on workshop invites you to decorate your own ceramic vase. Guided by artist Scotty Gillespie, you’ll experiment with surface techniques including stencilling, painterly underglazes, layered textures and graphic elements.
Whether you want to tell a personal story, make a statement, or simply explore colour and pattern, you’ll leave with a unique ceramic piece to take home. 10.30am–2.30pm at RAMM. £50 per ticket.
