Devon County Show: 15–17 May

Head to Westpoint to celebrate all that is great about rural life in Devon. Expect animals, tractors, heavy horses, food, music, dog shows, scurry racing, funfairs, crafts, gardens, cider, and loads of fun. Special guests include The Princess Royal (this year’s Show President); plus, there will be talks and events with actor Martin Clunes, TV star Kaleb Cooper, and TV property and craft expert Kirstie Allsopp. 

Eurovision Party at Exeter Phoenix:17 May

Join Roberta Calamari for an unforgettable evening as she hosts a live viewing of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, broadcasting directly from Basel, Switzerland. This year's contest promises a dazzling array of songs, sequins, and sensational performances. With doors opening from 7pm, the show will kick off at 7.30pm, with the live stream from 8pm–11pm, topping the night off with DJs playing camp classics until late.

PIGSTOCK FAMILY MUSIC FESTIVAL: 17 May

Pigstock is a one-day family festival held at The Big Sheep near Bideford, offering music, plus the renowned Big Sheep Farm & Theme Park to keep the kids entertained. Sonique, Bez DJ set (from Happy Mondays), Laid Blak, and The Cuban Brothers will be performing on the main stage, while kids will love the thrilling rides, including the Rampage Roller Coaster and Twister. For the younger ones, they can meet the animals in the Barn and feed the sheep and goats. 

Franklin's Night: 17 May 

Head to Sandford Orchards in Crediton where the team will be honouring the ancient tradition of warding off frost to protect the apple harvest. The evening features a reenactment, live music, food, and cider. According to folklore, a brewer named Franklin, eager to limit cider production, struck a deal with the devil to bring a May frost that would damage apple blossoms. To ensure a good harvest, cider makers had to outwit the devil- by throwing him off the bridge!

The Music of Radiohead by Candlelight: 17 May 

London Concertante's concert reimagines the iconic band's music in a symphonic setting, featuring orchestral arrangements of hits from albums like The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, and In Rainbows. Performed in a candlelit Exeter Cathedral, the concert series blends rock and classical music, offering an immersive experience that captures the essence of Radiohead's innovative sound.
