From inspiring local voices and party fashion to Christmas markets, winter getaways and the best of Exeter’s culture, there’s plenty to discover in our latest issue.

Welcome to our November issue!

We meet Greg and Nicky Parsons, owners of award-winning Sharpham Cheese, catch up with Sam White from Exeter charity Ride On Cycling and chat to comedian Grace Campbell ahead of her Exeter show. From making cheese and getting people on bikes to life on the comedy circuit, their stories offer three very different glimpses into what drives people to do what they do – and what keeps them going when the work gets tough. Read on and get inspired!

Elsewhere, we’re firmly embracing the art of the cosy. Our fashion pages are packed with gorgeous jumpers, luxurious layers and suitably fetching pyjamas, while Harry Hook has the comfort-food side of things covered with recipes made for chilly days and long evenings.

And then, of course, there’s Christmas. We bring you our guide to the best illuminations and festive markets, ideas for a West Country getaway, and part one of our Christmas Gift Guide, packed with brilliant presents for him, her, the kids – and, naturally, your precious pets.

As always, we bring you the best of the arts, culture and generally joyful things to do in the city. This issue is packed with art, theatre, music and more – we’ve got our eye on Ceilidh-oke at The Hall on Stepcote Hill. Led by local creatives, with a live singer and caller to guide the way, it’s a soul-filling mash-up of traditional dances and modern moves, complete with mass singalongs.

You can pick up a copy of Exeter Living magazine at Hyde & Seek, Artigiano, John Lewis, Sacred Grounds, John Lewis and Bernaville Nurseries. Alternatively, you can read the magazine online here.
