Exeter City return to St James Park this weekend looking to continue their impressive League One run and maintain momentum in the hunt for a top-half finish.

City come into this fixture unbeaten in recent league outings, continuing an encouraging run that includes a 2–2 draw away at Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Tuesday night — a result that extended their positive form in January.

Manager Gary Caldwell will be keen to build on that point, and he’s emphasised the importance of consistency and resilience as Exeter aim to stay competitive against a side who beat them earlier in the season.

Rotherham’s form has been patchy, and they’ll pose a threat, but Exeter’s confidence at home gives the Grecians a slight edge according to recent predictions.

The Grecians were defeated 1–0 by Rotherham when the sides last met at the New York Stadium early in the season — a result Caldwell will be looking to avenge on Saturday.
