The sporting gaze of Exeter will fall upon two tough games for City and the Chiefs this weekend.
Starting with the oval ball, Exeter Chiefs travel to Bath in the Premiership Rugby Cup and the ambition will be for a complete 80-minute performance.
The Chiefs enjoyed a fine first-half at Gloucester last weekend, and led the game by a single point at the break, but Gloucester pulled away in the second period to secure a 29-15 victory.
The challenge is just as difficult for Exeter City, as the Grecians travel to in-form Stevenage in Sky Bet League One. Stevenage enter the game fourth in the table, while City are 16th.
City manager Gary Caldwell told the club website: “We're expecting a tough game. We know what it's like to play there. We obviously lost last year and drew the previous season with a brilliant performance with 10 men, but we know the team. They're the same in terms of how they've set up for the last number of years.
“They're very aggressive. They make you defend, they make you compete. And we have to be ready for that, but we also have to be ready to control the game, to play our way, to impose our style in the game.
“It's always a really tough challenge. I think Alex Revell’s done a brilliant job as manager. He's somebody I signed as a player on loan when I was at Wigan many years ago now. So it's always good to come up against him."
