Sandy Park is hosting the Women's Rugby World Cup
Rugby fans who can’t make it to Sandy Park still have the chance to be part of the action – with every game of the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 shown live at Exeter’s official city centre fan zone.
The fan zone in Princesshay launched last night (Friday 22 August) with a bumper crowd watching England kick off their campaign in style with an emphatic 69-7 victory over the USA.
It’s the only official fan zone in Exeter and will be showing every match on a big screen, including those hosted at Sandy Park.
Exeter’s first host city fixture takes place tonight (Saturday 23 August) when Italy face France at Sandy Park (8.15pm kick-off).
Tickets are still available, and those heading to the stadium are in for more than just rugby – with pre-match DJ sets and a special performance from Marvin Humes adding to the big-match atmosphere.
For supporters without tickets, Princesshay offers the next best thing with live screening in the fan zone.
To make it even easier, Stagecoach South West is running services direct to Sandy Park on match days, alongside regular routes into Exeter city centre – giving fans the flexibility to choose between the stadium or the fan zone.
For those watching in the city centre, the fan zone offers bean bags, deck chairs and picnic benches, with refreshments from the Bloom Bar, plus street food vendors and take-out options from Princesshay restaurants.
