Exeter City Women have made their second summer signing with the addition of highly-rated 16-year-old Georgia Vaccaro, subject to FA registration.
Vaccaro, a dynamic young striker, will link up with Abbie Britton’s first-team squad ahead of pre-season as she takes the next step in her development.
She joins from Plymouth Argyle’s youth setup but is no stranger to the Grecians, having previously featured in Exeter City’s Girls Development Centre and represented her county at national level.
“Georgia is a player with huge potential, so we're delighted she's chosen Exeter City as the place to develop her game,” said City Women’s manager Abbie Britton. “Working closely with Exeter College, Aaron Wakely, and the Community Trust, we're building a fantastic pathway to nurture the South West's brightest young talents – and Georgia is certainly one of them.”
The signing underlines the club’s commitment to developing local talent, with Vaccaro set to benefit from the growing pathway between youth and senior women’s football in the region.
She becomes the club’s second confirmed signing of the summer window as preparations begin for the 2025/26 season.
