Exeter Chiefs Women’s scrum-half Flo Robinson has signed a new contract to extend her stay at Sandy Park, committing to the club ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 23-year-old, who recently earned her first senior England cap in the Red Roses’ Grand Slam-winning Six Nations campaign, returns for a fifth year with the club. She will also take on a dual coaching role with both Exeter College and the University of Exeter.
Robinson, who originally joined the Chiefs while studying at the university, has made 80 appearances for the team and featured in every PWR match last season, after rejoining from Harlequins where she spent 2023/24 playing alongside her sister Emily.
Her consistent performances in Exeter colours helped her force her way back into England contention, eventually making her delayed debut against Italy - three years after she was first named on the bench but denied an appearance due to floodlight failure in the 2021 France v England fixture.
Reflecting on her journey, Robinson said: “I love Exeter. I feel very at home here alongside players I have grown up with through the university pathway. I now have the opportunity to give something back through this new coaching role and I am looking forward to getting going next season.
Chiefs gave me the opportunity to play last season, which is all you want to do as a player. The more I play, the more I develop. With my recent exposure to the England environment, I want to continue to improve so I can contribute to what I hope will be a successful season for Chiefs in 2025/26.”
Interim head coach Steve Salvin praised Robinson’s impact both on and off the field, “Flo’s return was most welcome last season. She is an influential player who never takes a step backwards, so leads by example every time she goes onto the pitch.
With that first cap under her belt and, hopefully, a chance to play in the World Cup this summer, I look forward to watching her go from strength to strength next season and beyond.”
Robinson's re-signing is another boost for a Chiefs side looking to build on their growing momentum heading into the new season.
