As Exeter City reshape their squad ahead of the 2025/26 League One season - with eight players confirmed to be leaving the club - recruitment is also under way off the pitch.
Exeter City Football Club is recruiting for a full-time First Team Assistant Physiotherapist to join its medical department on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with the First Team Lead Physiotherapist to support the squad through injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation, both on and off the pitch.
The club says it is looking for someone with a proven track record in professional sport and a “relentless drive to achieve high class standards”.
The role will involve pitch-side support at training sessions and matchdays - including travel and overnight stays - as well as daily injury prevention work, soft tissue treatment, recovery sessions, and collaboration with coaching, sports science and medical staff.
Applicants must hold appropriate qualifications, be eligible to work in the UK, and will require an enhanced DBS check before starting.
The closing date for applications is Monday 12 May 2025.
Exeter City is owned by its Supporters’ Trust and places a strong emphasis on community engagement and long-term sustainability. The club says it is committed to inclusivity, development and “a culture of accountability and opportunity”.
To apply, visit the club’s People HR platform. Late applications will not be considered.
