Exeter City return to St James Park on Saturday for their final home league fixture of the 2024/25 Sky Bet League One season, welcoming Huddersfield Town in what promises to be a lively afternoon on and off the pitch.

With League One safety already secured, Gary Caldwell’s side will be aiming to sign off in front of the home crowd on a high. A fourth straight season at this level awaits the Grecians, but with two matches still to play, there’s every incentive to climb further up the table and end the campaign with momentum.

City will be seeking a positive response to Monday’s frustrating 3-1 defeat at Crawley Town, and they’ll need to be sharp against a Huddersfield team that, while sitting ninth and out of play-off contention, still pose a threat.

The Terriers come into this one after a narrow loss to Stockport County and will no doubt be eager to bounce back themselves.

The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 2-0 win for Huddersfield back in October, with the Grecians unable to find a breakthrough after conceding in each half. Saturday offers a chance to set the record straight.

Off the pitch, fans can look forward to the annual post-match signing session, where players will be out and about meeting supporters, signing autographs and posing for selfies. A special double-edition matchday programme will include signing sheets for both squads, making for a perfect keepsake from the final home outing of the season.

Local favourite Phil Smyth will also be performing live before and after the match, adding to what’s set to be a celebratory atmosphere around the Park.

Tickets are selling fast for this one, and with matchday hospitality already sold out, fans are encouraged to book in advance to avoid missing out.

Let’s pack the Park and give the lads the send-off they deserve.
