Ryan Trevitt said trip was like a mini- pre season
Ryan Trevitt has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Northampton Town at St James Park on Saturday, looking to respond to last weekend's defeat.
The City squad have spent the last week in La Manga, Spain for warm climate training and Trevitt also spoke of the benefit of the camp as the players prepare for the final 15 league games of the season.
"It is a really close-knit group, and everyone has really settled in well, and this felt like a chance for us to treat it like a mini pre-season. It was a reset for us.
"And now we're back here we just have to smash these last 15 games and try to accumulate as many points as possible."
Grecians manager, Gary Caldwell was also upbeat about the trip to Spain.
He said: "With seven new signings it was a really good opportunity to speed up the process of building relationships and getting them away to a fantastic environment with brilliant pitches.
"The players now have to go and show how they have benefitted from it in the remaining matches this season."
