Exeter City Women's upcoming match against Gwalia United on Sunday, January 19, will now take place at Taunton Town's Cygnet Health Care Stadium.
The match was originally scheduled to be held at Willand Rovers' Silver Street, but due to scheduling issues and the need to comply with league regulations, the venue had to be changed to avoid sanctions.
The pitch at Willand is unable to accommodate two matches this weekend, prompting the league to mandate a compliant venue. Exeter City Women expressed their gratitude to Taunton Town for their prompt assistance in hosting the fixture.
The club apologised for the confusion caused by the several venue changes and assured supporters that all tickets remain valid for the match at Cygnet Health Care Stadium.
Fans who require a refund can email tickets@ecfc.co.uk for assistance.
Taunton Town's Cygnet Health Care Stadium offers a variety of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Fans can make use of the clubhouse which features a fully stocked bar as well as, for those looking for a bite to eat, food kiosks will be available throughout the stadium.
Exeter City Women are currently positioned well in the league, sitting 3rd in the table and looking to continue their strong run. The Grecians have been in impressive form recently, but they face a tough challenge against Gwalia United, who will be determined to close the gap and end their losing streak.
