Exeter City’s upcoming home league fixture with Wigan Athletic, originally scheduled for Saturday, February 8, must be postponed due to the Grecians’ exciting progression in the Emirates FA Cup.
City will now face Premier League side Nottingham Forest in the fourth round this weekend, although the exact match details are yet to be confirmed.
All previously purchased tickets for the Wigan fixture will remain valid for the rescheduled date, including season tickets. For any supporters who are unable to attend the new date, the refund process will commence once the new fixture details are confirmed.
As the club awaits confirmation of the Nottingham Forest match details, supporters are urged not to contact Exeter City regarding the fixture until official information is released. Once the match date and time are confirmed by the FA, ticketing details will follow.
In the meantime, Exeter City is focused on maintaining its high standard of supporter experience at St James Park. Recent results from the EFL Family Excellence Awards have been positive, but with growing attendances, meeting the expectations of all supporters presents a challenge.
To address this, the club will hold its first Supporter Experience Roundtable of 2025 on January 22, from 6:15pm to 8:30pm at St James Park. Supporters are encouraged to join this discussion, which aims to gather feedback and explore ways to enhance fan engagement and the matchday experience.
The Roundtable will be hosted by Clive Harrison, Supporters’ Trust Trustee and Director of Supporter Engagement, alongside Richard Knight, Supporters’ Trust Trustee and Supporter Liaison Officer, and a representative from the club’s executive team.
The meeting will include feedback from previous sessions, presentations from club representatives, and an opportunity for supporters to discuss topics important to them. Presentations will include a talk by Nick Hawker, Club and Trust Chair, on the Trust Strategy, and Michael Heath, Chief Marketing Officer, will present on the ongoing development of the club’s new website and online shop.
Supporters interested in attending are encouraged to apply by January 17, as space is limited. Full details will be provided once the application process closes, and light refreshments will be available during the meeting.
