Today's game was a career first for Millenic Alli

Exeter City's progression to the FA Cup Third Round against Chesterfield marked the Grecians' first appearance at this stage of the competition in four years and also a career first for Millenic Alli.

The Grecians' number 11 has never reached this stage of the competition before, and is excited to see what the next stage has in store after his side's 2-0 win.

"I'm really happy, the first time in my career, it's a great opportunity to get a bigger club, go to their home ground and show what we can do."

Alongside Ilmari Niskanen on the opposite wing, Millenic had plenty of joy in behind the Chesterfield defence, a tactic he had been working on at the Cliff Hill.

"I was back this week, had a couple days training where we worked on me and Imi being the out ball, with the double movement, working on the move."
