Gary Caldwell and his staff are taking nothing for granted

For only the second time since August, Exeter City return to St James Park this Saturday as Cambridge United are the visitors in a 3pm kick-off on Saturday (October 5).

It's been a positive ten days for the Grecians, with three wins, one draw and four clean sheets following Tuesday's 1-0 win at Leyton Orient, while Cambridge United come to Devon looking to kickstart their season after a run of just one point from eight matches at the start of the season - they were beaten by a late Rotherham United goal on Tuesday night. 

City manager, Gary Caldwell, said he was not expecting an easy match on home turf.

He added: "We know enough about this league to know that you cannot underestimate anyone at this level, and it would be a huge mistake for us to do that on Saturday.

"They are a team that showed that on Tuesday night at home to Rotherham, they were really unlucky to lose that game and had moments where they could've got something.

"Sometimes in football that happens to you and we found that last year. We certainly weren't a bad team during our bad run last season. We have to be bang at it and be best version of ourselves on Saturday, individually and collectively, in front of our home crowd."
