Jack's glad to be back!

Jack Fitzwater on the first day back from his summer break

Jack Fitzwater has given his thoughts on Exeter City's first day back for pre-season, as they begin the busy summer schedule before Sky Bet League One kicks off in August.

Fitzwater and his teammates returned with plenty of work in the gym and on the pitch to kick off training.

The 6ft 2ins defender said: "It's always nice to come back on the first day and see the same faces and have a laugh and jokes in the changing room, seeing the lads again.
"The first day back was tough, we did a bit of bike work, but as everyone knows on day one of pre-season there are a few butterflies, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

"Though me, Will and Sweens were definitely sticthed up with a dodgy bike and had to get in the ice bath! It was nice today, it's 25 degrees but I'm not looking forward to it in the winter!"
