Gary Caldwell was pleased with how his players battled back
Gary Caldwell's Exeter City side came from 2-0 down at half-time to win 4-2 against Port Vale, as they notched up eight matches unbeaten.
"That second half was one of the best performances of the season," a delighted manager said.
"The less said about the first half the better. In the second half, we understood how to win the game and didn't change anything.
"The way we attacked, the speed and the physicality... we were outstanding. We didn't change anything but there were aspects we asked the players to do, the way we handled their attackers, they caused us no issues.
"Everything we worked on that we didn't do in the first half, we started doing and we were absolutely fantastic."
The Grecians are now in 12th place in League One.
