A mixed result on the road for Chiefs men and women

It was a mixed weekend of results for the Chiefs teams

Individual errors and a dominant last quarter from Saracens cost Exeter Chiefs men dear at the StoneX on Saturday (January 28) as a 15-15 half-time scoreline developed into a 40-22 win for the home side.

Meanwhile the Chiefs Women trounced a Sale team depleted by injury since the last time they made the journey up to the CorpAcq Stadium.

Chiefs looked liked the stronger side from the get-go, especially at scrum time with Hope Rogers, Emily Tuttosi and Lizzie Hanlon proving tough opposition in the front row with the rest of the pack lending their weight to the cause.

The final score was Sale Sharks Women 3, Exeter Chiefs Women 54.
