Slade secures dramatic Champions Cup victory for Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs secured a narrow Champions Cup victory

In a nail-biting Champions Cup encounter, Exeter Chiefs centre Henry Slade once again emerged as the hero, kicking the winning points in a sensational 19-17 win over Glasgow Warriors.

The match was a rollercoaster of emotions as Exeter found themselves trailing for the majority of the game.

With the clock ticking down and Glasgow holding a narrow lead, a superb late try from young replacement Zack Wimbush, injected renewed hope and excitement into the Exeter faithful.

With nerves of steel, Henry Slade executed a flawless kick edging the Chiefs ahead.

The tension heightened as the Television Match Official (TMO) and the referee deliberated before ruling out the potential try, denying Glasgow a last-minute victory.

The final whistle signalled a mix of relief and jubilation as Chiefs progressed to the next stage of the Champions Cup.
