Multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Jacob Alon has been confirmed as the special guest for Lewis Capaldi’s headline shows at TK Maxx presents Live at Powderham this June.
The 2026 BRITS Critics Choice and BBC Introducing award winner will join Capaldi for his two Devon shows on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June at the scenic Powderham Castle estate near Exeter.
Alon, who headlines Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms tonight as part of the BRITS Week series in support of War Child, shot to acclaim with their Mercury Prize-nominated debut album In Limerence. The Fife-born artist became the first Scottish recipient of the BBC Introducing Award, cementing their reputation as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary folk.
While Alon’s music draws on folk traditions, critics note their versatility and star quality. The Times praised them as “breathing new life into the singer-songwriter genre,” while The Independent called them “one of the most remarkable voices of their generation.”
Festival organisers Cuffe & Taylor, part of the Live Nation family, described Alon as “a rapidly rising artist whose music will only become more widely known and celebrated as the year goes on.” Co-founder Peter Taylor added: “Sunday night’s show was an instant sell-out, and there are limited tickets still available for Saturday – don’t miss out!”
TK Maxx presents Live at Powderham runs for four nights from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 June, with headline shows from vocal powerhouse Teddy Swims and seven-time GRAMMY winner Alanis Morissette, alongside Capaldi and Alon.
The festival brings global stars to the picturesque Devon countryside, combining world-class music with the historic setting of Powderham Castle.
