Police issue urgent appeal to find missing Exeter woman Margaret Elston

Police have issued an urgent appeal as concern grows for a 46-year-old woman reported missing from Exeter.

Margaret Elston was reported missing on the morning of 23 February 2026. Officers say she was last seen in Exeter on Friday 20 February.

She is believed to be travelling in a blue Ford Focus with the registration EX17 WNA.

Margaret is described as a white woman of slim build with dark, shoulder-length hair. It is not currently known what clothing she was wearing when she was last seen.

Devon and Cornwall Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen her, or who knows of her whereabouts, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call 999 quoting log number 535 of 23/02/2026.
