Award-winning comedian Esther Manito is set to perform in Exeter next month as part of her biggest UK tour to date, with her new stand-up show Slagbomb coming to Exeter Phoenix on Sunday 8 February 2026.

The Exeter date forms part of a nationwide tour running from September 2025 to February 2026, which sees the British-Lebanese comedian perform in venues across the UK, including London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Bristol.

Esther, who has appeared on Live at the Apollo and The Stand Up Sketch Show, uses Slagbomb to explore the pressures and contradictions of modern life, focusing on parenting, ageing, relationships and expectations placed on women.

The show follows the success of her previous tour Hell Hath No Fury, which sold out multiple venues and added extra dates due to demand.

In Slagbomb, Esther draws on personal experience to examine what she describes as the “sandwich years” of adulthood, balancing children, parents and work, while reflecting on wider issues including gender politics, identity and family life.

The show also touches on her Lebanese heritage and the impact of global events on everyday life.

Exeter audiences will be able to see Esther at one of the city’s leading cultural venues, with Exeter Phoenix continuing to attract nationally recognised performers as part of its comedy programme.

The event adds to a busy winter schedule at the venue, which regularly hosts touring theatre, music and comedy productions.

Esther has previously won Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival and received critical acclaim for her debut and follow-up tours. Her work has also been featured on BBC Radio 4, ITV, Dave and BBC Sounds, and her stand-up has been praised for its sharp social commentary and personal storytelling.

Tickets for the Exeter Phoenix show are available through the venue’s website, with demand expected to be high following strong national interest in the tour.
