Exeter’s Fisher German team is taking on an epic five-day walking, running, and cycling relay as part of the consultancy’s nationwide ‘Big 25’ challenge, raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance.

The challenge marks Fisher German’s 25th anniversary, with colleagues from its 25 UK offices travelling between locations without using motorised transport to support 25 different charities.

Originally aiming to raise £25,000, the campaign has already exceeded its target, with the firm pledging to match any donations up to £25,000, potentially raising over £50,000 for the charities.

Exeter’s team took the baton from the Banbury office and set out on a 165-mile journey to Worcester, choosing Devon Air Ambulance as their local beneficiary. The charity keeps Devon’s two air ambulances flying and critical care cars responding across the region, providing life-saving treatment to patients in both rural and urban areas.

Toby, Associate Partner at Fisher German’s Exeter office, said:
“Devon Air Ambulance’s work is incredible, especially given the region’s vast geography. Getting the right emergency treatment often requires air support, and their helicopters ensure patients reach the most appropriate care quickly. We wanted to support a charity that could personally impact us, our families, and the wider community.”

Adding a touch of mascot magic, the team will be accompanied by a miniature version of Ambrose, the charity’s teddy bear mascot who rides in helicopters to calm young patients. “Autumn weather will make it challenging, but we’re excited to take on this journey and raise as much money as possible,” Mr. Perry added.

Tracy Hepper, Corporate Partnership Manager at Devon Air Ambulance, praised the initiative:
“Our corporate supporters are at the heart of every mission, helping us save lives across Devon every day. Fisher German’s partnership is a powerful way to make a real difference to those who need us most.”

The nationwide ‘Big 25’ challenge has already seen colleagues traverse the country via tandem bikes, unicycles, open-water swims, and even a conga line, covering a total of 2,400 miles.

Fisher German is also celebrating a major rebrand, reflecting its growth, ambition, and collaborative approach across the business.
