Breaking news: car crashes near Exeter Cathedral

Emergency services respond after car hits pedestrian on Exeter Cathedral Green

Emergency services are currently attending an incident on Cathedral Green involving a car and a pedestrian.

A silver vehicle appeared to have crashed through a low wall opposite Exeter Cathedral, with eyewitnesses describing a heavy emergency service presence in the area.

Paramedics treated one casualty at the scene. Details of the casualty’s condition have not yet been released.

The circumstances of the collision are currently under investigation.
