Exeter Airport revives key UK flight route

After three years, Loganair restores daily flight route connecting Exeter to a major UK city

Exeter Airport revives key UK flight route

Regional airline Loganair has announced a new daily flight between Exeter and Manchester, restoring an important air link that has been absent for the past three years.

The new service will launch on 26 October 2025, with tickets available now from £59.99, including a 15kg hold bag and a 6kg cabin bag.

Loganair says the new route will improve connectivity for both business and leisure travellers, linking Exeter to Manchester’s key transport hubs and international connections.

This announcement follows the highly anticipated launch of Exeter Airport’s new direct flight to Amsterdam, set to begin at the end of the month, further expanding international travel options for passengers.

Luke Farajallah, CEO of Loganair, said: “The addition of the Manchester to Exeter route further enhances connectivity across the UK and beyond, supporting regional economies and allowing customers to travel even further afield with our partner airlines.”

Exeter Airport Managing Director Stephen Wiltshire welcomed the news, calling it a significant step in strengthening air travel options for the region.

“We are delighted to welcome Loganair’s new daily service between Exeter and Manchester, which marks the return of this important route after a three-year absence,” he said.

“This new connection offers passengers greater choice when travelling to the Northwest and complements Loganair’s existing year-round flights from Exeter to Newcastle and Edinburgh.”

Loganair, which was recently named one of the UK’s top airlines by Which?, continues to expand its services from Exeter Airport. The airline already operates year-round flights to Newcastle and Edinburgh, with Manchester now added to its network.
