Police search for Exeter man wanted for assault

Police are appealing to the public for information to help locate 42-year-old Gareth McLeod, who is wanted in connection with several offences, including assault, criminal damage, and violence to secure entry.

McLeod, who is from Exeter, was last seen in the Beacon Heath area of the city on the evening of Tuesday 11 February.

He is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 11in tall, of medium build, with a shaved head.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries to locate McLeod, and now they are seeking assistance from the public.

Anyone who sees him is advised not to approach him but to call the police immediately on 999, quoting reference number 50250036746.

Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111 or visiting their website.

If you have any information, police urge you to come forward and assist with their investigation.
