Laurence Jones headlines Exeter Phoenix

Award-winning blues-rock guitarist Laurence Jones is set to bring his electrifying live show to Exeter as part of his 2025 UK headline tour. The acclaimed musician will perform at Exeter Phoenix on 6 March - one of 31 grassroots, independent venues included in the nationwide tour.

Recognised by Music Radar as one of the world’s top 10 blues-rock guitarists, Jones has earned widespread acclaim for his dynamic style and technical prowess. His work has drawn praise from some of the industry’s biggest names, with Rolling Stone Magazine describing his sound as one that “skilfully combines energy and feeling.” Blues legend Buddy Guy has even dubbed him “the next Eric Clapton.”

Jones has shared stages with music legends including Sir Van Morrison, Sir Ringo Starr, Jeff Beck, and Joe Bonamassa.

Organised by AGMP in partnership with the Music Venue Trust (MVT), the tour aims to support the UK’s independent music scene, bringing top-tier live performances to local communities. Spanning England, Scotland, and Wales, the tour will see Jones take his power-trio format to intimate venues across the country.
