Exeter College is now accepting applications for trials to join their Women’s Football Academy for the upcoming academic year.
The academy, run in partnership with Exeter City Women, has a strong track record of producing talented players, with several academy graduates, including Jess Sandland and Georgie Barbour-Gresham, going on to join the Exeter City Women’s first team in recent years.
Those wishing to trial for next year’s academy must first apply for a full-time course at Exeter College. Once registered, applicants can complete their Sports Academy application.
The trial will take place on Tuesday, April 1, from 18:00-20:00 at Exwick Sports Hub, held on their high-quality 3G surface.
The closing date for applications is Friday, February 14, so interested individuals are encouraged to apply early. For more details or if you have any questions, contact Sports Academy Manager Chris Wall at chriswall@exe-coll.ac.uk.
This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring footballers looking to further their education while being part of a well-established academy programme with strong ties to Exeter City Women.
