Man Charged with Murder Following Death of 70-Year-Old Woman in Newton Poppleford
A 67-year-old man has been charged with murder after the death of a 70-year-old woman in the Devon village of Newton Poppleford.
Richard Law, of Lark Rise, was arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred on 17 January. For more information on the incident, click here.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the death is being treated as an isolated incident.
Mr Law is scheduled to appear before Exeter Magistrates’ Court via video link on Thursday, 23 January.
