The Family Law Company is urging the public to submit their final nominations for its ‘Everyday Bravery’ campaign before the deadline on January 31. This inspiring initiative highlights individuals who demonstrate courage and resilience in their daily lives, celebrating those who make a difference without seeking recognition.
“Bravery isn’t just about grand, heroic acts; it is something many people show in their everyday lives, often without recognition,” says Kerry England, Business Development Director at The Family Law Company. “The nominations we’ve received so far have been incredibly moving. Some have been heart-wrenching, others uplifting, but all are inspiring. We know there are still more stories out there, and we’d love to receive a few more nominations before the deadline.”
The campaign seeks to recognise a wide range of acts of bravery, including:
Overcoming personal fears
Managing health challenges
Caring for others
Persevering through difficult circumstances
Anyone can nominate a friend, family member, colleague, or neighbour whose quiet strength deserves recognition. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges, with one winner receiving a luxurious two-night stay at the award-winning Bovey Castle Hotel & Spa. Two runners-up will receive bespoke gift boxes curated by Bespoke & Local.
To shine a light on what ‘Everyday Bravery’ means, The Family Law Company has produced a series of short films featuring local people sharing their personal journeys. These stories, available online, showcase remarkable examples of resilience, including:
Surviving domestic abuse
Overcoming language barriers
Changing career paths during challenging times
Living with postnatal depression
Building a successful career after suffering a stroke at just 28
If you know someone whose bravery deserves to be celebrated, visit The Family Law Company’s website and select the ‘Everyday Bravery’ tab. There, you’ll find an easy-to-use nomination form and links to the inspiring short films on YouTube.
Don’t miss the chance to celebrate the everyday heroes in your life. Nominations close on January 31, and the winners will be announced in early February. Join The Family Law Company in recognising and honouring the quiet strength and courage of those around us.
