Free advice event for carers

Devon Carers are holding a free Information and Advice Fair this week.

Visitors will be able to access a whole host of information including: self-referring for health and wellbeing checks (Carers Assessments); carer skills workshops and peer support.

There will also be a number of organisations represented and available to chat to for information about their services.

They will include:

• Citizens Advice
• South West Water
• Westbank
• Devon Young Carers
• Exeter Community Energy
• Talkworks
• Exeter Dementia Action Alliance
• Healthwatch
• Shared Lives South West
• South West MS Centre
• National Energy Action
• Parkinsons UK

The event takes place on Thursday 21st November (which is Carers Rights Day) in Exeter at Exeter Library, Castle St, Exeter EX4 3PQ, 10am to 4pm.
