Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Exmouth.

The incident, involving a cyclist and a blue Honda CR-V, happened on Withycombe Road around 9:25pm on November 16.

The cyclist, a man in his 30s, sustained life-threatening head injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Derriford Hospital. Police say the driver of the Honda CR-V left the scene, prompting an active investigation.

Officers from the Roads Policing team have expressed gratitude for the public's patience during the road closure.

Investigators are urging anyone with relevant information or Dashcam footage to contact Devon and Cornwall police via their website or by calling 101, referencing log 777 of 16/11/24.
