Exeter will have the only RAF-accredited Air Explorers in the South West

Due to huge demand for places, Exeter Explorers, with the support of 3rd Exeter Air Scout Group, is creating a brand new Air Explorer Unit.

After take off, Exeter Air Explorers will become the only RAF-accredited Air Explorers in the South West of England. Many of the existing Explorers Scouts will retain their speciality in Air Scouting and will welcome others to be a part of the new unit.

The opportunity to join Scouting isn’t just open to young people. If you have an avid interest in aircraft and flying now is the perfect time to help guide the next generation and share your passion.

For all those involved in Scouting, it offers the chance to make new friends, develop skills for life and experience brand new adventures.

If you want to find out more and have your first experience of Air Scouts, Exeter Air Explorers are hosting an open event on Friday 11th October between 18:00 20:30 at St James’ Church, Hall, Mount Pleasant Road, Devon, EX4 7AD.\

The event is open to any interested adults and young people. For further information or to register for the event, please email Martin on martin.stephens@scouts.org.uk
