Pop-up market will support local traders

A previous pop up event in Princesshay

Princesshay in Exeter city centre is supporting local traders this spring with a pop-up market.

It takes place in the main mall, opposite Reiss and Oliver Bonas, from 10 May to 2 June.

The market starts on Friday 10 May with three days of local food producers. Princesshay’s charity partner Exeter Leukaemia Fund will also be on site running a competition to win a free cream tea.

The next three weeks will see a variety of makers and small businesses showcasing their wares, from antique prints and ceramics to locally made soap and jewellery.

The list of confirmed traders includes:

Week 1

Saturday 11 – Sunday 12 May, will be exclusively for South West food and drink producers, including Exe Chocolate, Big Bakes Bakery and Bosworth’s Bakery.

Week 2

Thursday 16 – Sunday 19 May, will see local traders including Winter & Drew Publishing, The Antique Print Stall and Ruff Day.

Week 3

Thursday 23 – Sunday 26 May, will see local traders including Soap Daze, Edward’s Fudge Kitchen and Ginger Zebra.

Week 4

Monday 27 May – Sunday 2 June, will see local traders including Sassy Upcycling, Retro Rail and Gary Shaw Ceramics.
